Thor Launches Spanish Language Online Store
(LOS ANGELES) – Los Angeles-based Thor Appliance Company today launched a fully-translated Spanish language appliance store on the Internet at http://www.thorappliances.com/spanish/index.html. The first U.S.-based online store featuring compact appliances, the new site will provide the same full line of unique laundry products offered on the company's original English language Internet site, www.thorappliances.com.
"The majority of Thor washer dryers are sold into communities with large Spanish-speaking populations," said Michael Sanchez, director of Thor's Spanish language web site. "This is an opportunity to reach out to these consumers."
The new site will serve customers in the United States, Canada and parts of Mexico, and will employ locally-based Spanish speaking operators to answer product questions and take telephone orders. Thor will use its existing North American distribution and service network for order fulfillment and repairs.
