Thor Appliances Introduces APEX Washer and Ventless Dryer
(LOS ANGELES) – Thor Appliance Company, a leading supplier of specialty home appliances, today introduced its new APEX stackable washer and ventless dryer.
Consisting of a 110 volt front-loading washer and separate 220 volt ventless dryer, the APEX is the first laundry set to incorporate Thor's exclusive Tru-Dry technology. The APEX with Tru-Dry offers dry times that rival standard 220 volt dryers, without the need for vent duct installation.
"Many homeowners have the misconception that in order to install a washer and dryer, you must vent to the outside," said Matthew Lee, Thor's vice president of product design. "In fact, with new technology such as Tru-dry, ventless systems can now dry as fast as traditional vented dryers, without the headache and cost of an external vent."
With compact measurements per unit of 23 1/2" wide, 33" high and 23 3/4" deep and flexible side-by-side or stackable installation options, the APEX can meet the space constraints of even the smallest apartment or condominium. In addition, the system includes a space-saving laundry shelf which may be mounted between the washer and dryer when the machine is installed in a vertical configuration.
As with all Thor laundry machines, the efficient APEX washer and dryer has a low environmental impact and exceeds federal ENERGY STAR standards.
